Pivot’s Covid-19 Updates

Peel Region is still in lockdown. 

Provincewide Shutdown was announced to begin on December 26th for at least 28 days.

NEW students can visit our schedule page to review how many spots we have left for our 2021 classes.

We suggest registering early due to the limited numbers. (please note: these numbers are only updated monthly)

All registration fees remain as credit on the account.

Pivot’s Covid-19 Policies and Guidelines

To help provide a safe and clean environment for our staff and students we have developed Covid-19 Policies and Guidelines.

New Studio Guidelines

    Cleaning: The studio will be cleaned and sanitized thoroughly on a daily bases.

    All frequently touch surfaces will be cleaned after class.

    Self- Screening: if you or your child feels unwell, has any symptoms of Covid-19, has come into contact with someone that has recently tested positive or has traveled out of the province in the last 14 days, please stay at home. Please think of your community and the business longevity. Adult students- call or email us and we will add the class back to your account. You will be missed and welcomed back when you are healthy.

    Hand washing/Sanitizing: Staff and students must wash their hands when they arrive and before they start class. Hand sanitizer will be available around the studio.

    Physical distancing of 6 feet: will remain in place until the government organizations provide further instructions.

    We have created social distancing bubbles by placing marking on the floors.

    Strict arrival time: Please arrive on time for your class. The door will be locked between sessions and opened 5-10 mins before the start of class by the teacher.

    Masks/Face Shields: ARE MANDATORY to enter the building and it all common areas. Wearing a mask when “engaged in an athletic, fitness or aquatic activity in accordance
    with the Emergency Orders” (Peel Region Website 2020) is optional. We ask you wear your mask during classes unless you have trouble breathing. For couple classes masks are mandatory. 

    *The positive side of wearing a mask- you don’t need to buy gum!

    Administration: There will be no administrator at the desk at this time. All enquiries will need to be written to info@pivotdanceschool.com.

    Minimal Storage Space: Please bring minimal personal belongings as they will be placed in the new cubby area near reception. The coat check area is temporarily closed.

New Online Registration Process

    Booking Class: Students must register in advance via their Wellness Living Account.

    Drop-ins are not available at this time.

    Limited Class Numbers: Classes held in studio C are limited to 15 students. Classes held in studio A are limited to 5 students.

    Waiting List: Student’s who want to attend a class which is at capacity will be placed onto a waiting list. If a spot becomes available you will be notified via email 7 hours before the class starts.

    Self Check-In: students to self-check in via their Wellness Living app. Teachers will double check everyone has signed in using their WL staff app.
